Since 2006, Huppmann has been a company of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft. Heinz-Jürgen Kroner and Dirk Hämling are the Managing Directors of Huppmann GmbH. In the GEA Brewery Systems business unit, Huppmann has a very close cooperation with Tuchenhagen Brewery Systems today.
Tradition and know-how
Huppmann was founded in 1874. To manufacture turnkey brewing equipment for world famous beers and to compete on an international level, a long craft tradition may not be absolutely essential. However, it is definitely an advantage. The know-how of materials and processes that has been developed over decades, the comprehensive knowledge of our engineers and the solid experience of our fitters account for the exceptional quality and the good name of Huppmann. Today, the company has about 280 employees.

With its Power Upgrade program, Huppmann has continually improved the possibilities for upgrades of existing equipment with its technology and extended its service offerings in this field. Intelligent solutions have been developed to increase the economic efficiency of existing brewhouses significantly. In terms of process costs and environmental protection the upgrades set new benchmarks in the brewing process. Numerous references including world market leaders as well as medium-sized breweries prove the practicability of the upgrades both in Huppmann plants and in plants from other manufacturers.
